Compact Driveway Sub Base
Compacted road stone forms a substantial hard surface. Some soft spots may require deeper excavating and more road stone added untill it firms up. This is then suitable for finishing surfaces in tarmac, block paving, newbury flint or concrete standings.
Newbury And Stone Driveways
A Newbury Flint driveway has many advantages. It requires a adequate sub-base to guarantee firmness. 150mm minimum is recommended. Newbury flint is hard wearing and keeps its colour well. It will increase the security of the area due to the approach of footsteps and vehicles being audible. Drainage concerns can be easily addressed.
